Steve Herman
Short Biography: Steve Herman is an associate in the Herman, Herman, Katz and Cotlar firm in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana state courts, the U.S. District Court, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. He received his degrees from Dartmouth College (B.A., 1991) and Tulane University of Louisiana (J.D., magna cum laude, 1994). While at Tulane, he was named to the Order of the Coif. He served as judicial clerk for Justice Harry T. Lemmon of the Louisiana Supreme Court, 1994–95.
Mr. Herman is the author of America and the Law: Challenges for the 21st Century, (Austin and Winfield, 1998, rev. ed. Gravier House Press, 1999). He a member of the Louisiana State and American Bar Associations, the Association of the Trial Lawyers of America, and the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, and serves on the board of trustees of the Civil Justice Foundation.
