Wallace E. Maloney is the founder of and is now of counsel to the law firm of Maloney, Bean and Horn P.C. in Irving, Texas. He has litigated aviation crash and product liability cases for more than thirty-six years and has been lead defense counsel in a number of airline disaster cases in various venues in the United States. He served as the head of the United States’ Justice Department’s aviation defense unit for four years and was one of the original attorneys assigned to that unit at its formation. He is a licensed pilot with a commercial, multi-engine, instrument rating and is a long time member of the International Society of Air Safety Investigators. In addition to his membership as an attorney in several state bar associations, he is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been an active defense trial lawyer throughout his career.
