Michael Olin
Short Biography: Michael Olin is a shareholder in Podhurst, Orseck, Josefsberg, Eaton, Meadow, Olin and Perwin, P.A., of Miami, Florida. He received his B.A., with high distinction, and his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1973 and 1976, respectively. He is presently a member of the board of directors of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and a member of the board of governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has lectured at numerous Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, American and Florida Bar and ATLA seminars on various subjects, and is a past chairman of ATLA’s aviation section. He is a member of the Dade County Trial Lawyers Association and a charter member of the Miami chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, of which he was president in 1997. A former member of the board of governors of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, he has also served as vice-chair of the Florida Bar’s Rules of Civil Procedure Committee, and is a former officer of the Dade County Bar’s young lawyers section. Finally, he is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Federal and American Bar Associations and a member of the Bar in Florida, Wyoming and the District of Columbia.
