He was the founder of the Institute of Vehicular Safety, and Chairman of the Board and Director of Research of B.S.A. Industries. Dr. Abrams authored numerous professional publications and made numerous presentations to professional groups. He was also actively involved in the research and development of safety devices to improve visibility in the railroad and highway environments, and holds several key patents.
