Rebecca A. Roeder
Short Biography: Rebecca A. Roeder received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, M.S.
in Basic Medical Science in Physiology and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering
from Purdue University. In 1997, she was awarded the Fearnot
Prize for best seminar. In 1999, she was a finalist in the AAMI Young Investigator
Competition. She recently completed a Postdoctoral position in
the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University under
the direction of Dr. Leslie Geddes. Her interests include cardiovascular
devices and their applications, and accident investigation.
