Jeffrey Wishik, M.D., J.D., is a board certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist in private practice in Providence, Rhode Island. He received his medical degree from Rush University in 1981. After neurology residency and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Albany Medical Center he completed a behavioral neurology fellowship at Boston University. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law in 1997, and is a member of the Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island bars. He has been practicing neurology in Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts since 1987, with a special interest in adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Dr. Wishik is also a certified independent medical examiner (American Board of Independent Medical Examiners) and provides medicolegal and consultative services to attorneys. He has published articles in the field of legal medicine and lectures to both physicans and attorneys on clinical and medicolegal topics.
