Eric G. Fosmire
Short Biography: 

Eric G. Fosmire is a shareholder of Collins and Lacy in Columbia, South Carolina. He is a trial lawyer who practices in the area of construction defects, premises and alcohol liability. His practice also includes insurance coverage and catastrophic personal injury litigation.  He has tried numerous condominium construction defect cases.  Eric has been a speaker at numerous construction defect and mold seminars and claims handling training sessions.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in 1989.  He is a former law clerk for The Honorable Don S. Rushing of South Carolina’s Sixth Judicial Circuit.  He served as an assistant solicitor in the Fifth Judicial Circuit, prosecuting a range of major violent crimes and drug offenses.  He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
