David M Governo
Short Biography: David M. Governo has a national reputation as a leader in the fields of indoor air quality and complex civil litigation. Mr. Governo represents clients throughout the United States in cases involving mold, lead, asbestos and chemical exposure claims.
With respect to indoor air quality and mold, Mr. Governo advises business owners, including remediators, and represents both plaintiffs and defendants in mold-related litigation. In 2001, he developed and chaired Mealey’s National Mold Litigation Conferences in California and Florida and over the past eight years, he has been invited to present papers on mold at legal and trade conferences throughout the country.
Mr. Governo has published articles on many aspects of mold including remediation, liability, insurance coverage and claims handling. He is a member of numerous bar and technical associations, including the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Indoor Air Quality Association, ACGIH, ASTM and the Editorial Board of Indoor Environmental Connections.
