Short Biography: Dr. John C. Glennon, president of John C. Glennon, Chartered, Overland Park, KS, is a world-renowned roadway safety consultant and expert. Over his forty-two-year career, he has led and participated in research projects dealing with most of the major topics in this book. He has published extensively in professional papers, research reports, training manuals, and books. He has also given presentations at many major roadway safety meetings over the last thirty-four years. As an expert witness, retained by either the plaintiff or the defendent, he has participated in several hundred roadway defect cases covering every topic in this book.
