Andrew D. Weinberg
Short Biography: Andrew Weinberg, M.D., is a board-certified internist and geriatrician and head of long-term care at the Wesley Woods Center of Emory University. He serves as an associate professor of medicine in the Emory University School of Medicine and as medical director for several Emory-affiliated nursing facilities in the Atlanta area. He most recently served as president of the Georgia Geriatrics Society, an American Geriatrics Society state affiliate. Dr. Weinberg is also the current chairman of the Special Interest Group on Long-Term Care of the American Geriatrics Society in New York and a member of the Public Policy Committee of the American Medical Directors Association.
