Short Biography: Mary L. Lubin, M.A., RNC, CNHA, has a private consulting practice to nursing homes and attorneys relating to nursing and operational issues in nursing homes. Ms. Lubin has been an active registered nurse for forty-six years and is certified by the American Nurses Association as a certified gerontological nurse. She is currently licensed as a nursing home administrator. The American College of Health Care Administrators has not only certified her as a nursing home administrator but also honored her as a fellow of the College. Ms. Lubin has served in nursing home positions as staff nurse, staff development director, director of nursing, nursing home administrator and regional nursing home executive. She was a partner in the founding of a new nursing home company with an emphasis on subacute care and is an expert in the operation of hospital-based nursing homes. Ms. Lubin received a B.S. from Simmons College School of Nursing and a M.A. in Community Health from California State University, Sacramento. More About Mary L. Lubin
